WHO WE ARE
Lightbox is a provider of web and multimedia services and is incorporated as a limited company in the Republic of Ireland. Our mission is to provide the highest level of service to our clients using the latest technolgies and freshest designs. We pride ourselves on the wealth and depth of experience and skills at our disposal. Our current team consists of individuals hailing from 4 continents speaking a total of ten different languages! TOM HAYES
Managing Director
Tom has worked in the web development arena as a designer and project manager for the past 12 years in Dublin and Brussels. He has wide experience in the design and development of commercial web-based applications in a number of different fields. He is currently the managing director of Lightbox and leads the project development of this young and growing company. He likes mountains...
UNA
Project Manager
Una has worked in software development as a web developer, technical writer, and project manager over the past ten years. Her experience includes development and deployment of both large and small scale commercial and public sector projects. She is a graduate of Trinity College, and has a post-graduate qualification in IT from Dublin City University.
TONY
Lead Designer
Tony has worked as a graphic designer and project manager in the web industry for over nine years. During his time within the industry he has gained the skills and knowledge to turn ideas into cutting edge design. Tony is also an experienced videographer and keen amateur photographer. His spare time is spent restoring vintage cars or racing motocross!
INGE
Web Developer/Online Marketing
Inge is responsible for the build and realisation of the designer’s creations and ensuring that our sites meet industry standards. She joined Lightbox having graduated from DCU with a first class honours in her Msc in Multimedia. When not in Lightbox she is involved in distributing and promoting short films.
TOMEK
Programmer
DJ extraordinaire, Tomek joined Lightbox in early 2007 armed with a Masters degree (Msc) in Computer Science from the university of Lodz in Poland specialising in Internet technologies. He has a wide range of programming skills including Java, C++, PHP, XML, XSLT and relational database skills using mySQL, PostgresSQL and Oracle. He manages the server side development process in Lightbox.
VICTOR
Programmer
Victor Joined Lightbox in early 2010 after years in Brazil, working as a software developer and Linux admin. He graduated in Computer Science and has a post-graduate degree in IT Management. He is very enthusiastic about Agile methodologies and how they relate to web development. Victor specialises in continuous integration, quality and automated testing working with technologies such as Java, Grails, Python, JQuery, Mysql, PostgreSQL and Oracle. When not working, Victor loves traveling and visiting new sites around Ireland.
LOIC
Web Developer
Hailing from La Rochelle on the West coast of France he specialises in programming for the web and is primarily involved with XHTML, CSS, JSP, Java, PHP, Actionscript and mySQL development. He graduated with a degree in “Ingénierie de l'Internet et du Multimedia” from the Université du Sud in Toulon. Expect to see Loic anywhere the rain isn't and more than likely hurtling through the waves on a windsurfer...
